Today, RJ Corp is a powerhouse multinational with thriving businesses in beverages, fast-food restaurants, retail, ice-cream, dairy products, healthcare and education.
RJ Corp is expanding its presence into other African nations as well. From conventional business areas like food and beverages, the group has also made pioneering forays into emerging sectors like stem cell banking and modern healthcare. Also, RJ Corp has recently added two new verticals with Retail, which has Nike and J Mart as its integral part. J Mart is under Alisha Retail Pvt. Ltd. Across alliances and business sectors, RJ Corp has always maintained a very strong core of people and outstanding teamwork. RJ Corp signed a bottling appointment and trademark license agreement with Pepsi and thus began an association with Pepsi.
Under Divyani Intl, Pizza Hut made its foray into India with its first restaurant in Bengaluru in June 1996.
RJ Corp ventured into the technical collaboration with the French Dairy major in Canadian market to mark the arrival of Creambell ice-cream in India. In 2012, RJ Corp launched Creambell Dairy in Zambia.
This year RJ Corp associated itself as one of the Master Franchise for Nike and established Medanta AfriCare (is a world-class Daycare & Ambulatory Center located in Nairobi, Kenya) and Diagno Labs. Aquaclear, pure drinking water, was first launched in Zambia.
Devyani International Limited brought a fresh whiff of coffee aroma into the country through an alliance with Whitbread Group UK. Costa Coffee became the toast of India’s coffee aficionados.
RJ Corp joined hands with the Sameer Group, and formed Sameer Agriculture and Livestock Ltd., to acquire Daima, a dairy brand in Kenya.
