It was the summer of 1958 when Dan and Frank Carney decided to open a pizzeria. With mouth-watering pizzas prepared by the founders themselves, Pizza Hut soon became the most popular neighbourhood restaurant. It is one of the flagship brands of Yum! Brands Inc. Pizza Hut is the world’s largest casual dining restaurant chain with over 13,000 restaurants across 100 countries and 400+ stores across 30+ cities in India. Pizza Hut made its foray into India with its first restaurant in Bengaluru in June 1996. This was the first international restaurant chain to enter this category and can be credited with pioneering the pizza market in India. In March 2015, Aquaclear was launched in Mozambique followed by Zimbabwe. In February 2016, Aquaclear was launched in Kenya and is already growing at a steady rate. In 2009, RJ Corp joined hands with the Sameer Group, and formed Sameer Agriculture and Livestock Ltd., to acquire Daima, a dairy brand in Kenya.
